Expert Defined Brows Training Overview
Expert Defined Brows is a complete brow treatment designed to create beautifully shaped, balanced and defined brows tailored to each individual client.
During your 1-to-1 training, you will learn how to assess the natural brows and facial features, accurately map and create symmetry, select and apply colour using tint or henna, and perfect the finished shape using waxing, threading and tweezing. The focus is not simply on following a set brow shape, but understanding how to create the right brows for each client.
Theory is completed before your practical training, allowing our time together to focus on hands-on technique, precision and working confidently on live models.
You will also be given an essential professional kit, containing the key products and equipment you need to begin performing the treatment on your own clients.

Diverse Entry Pathways
This is a beginner-friendly CPD-accredited course. Learners are responsible for ensuring they meet the requirements of their chosen insurer before offering treatments professionally.
Upon successfully completing the theoretical and practical elements, participants receive their course certificate.
Insurance requirements vary between providers, so it remains the learner's responsibility to confirm that their qualification and training are accepted by their chosen insurer before treating clients.
Module 1 – Health, Safety & Hygiene
Professional standards, salon hygiene, PPE, infection prevention and safe working practices.
Module 2 – Brow & Hair Theory
Brow hair structure, growth cycles, facial features and the principles behind creating balanced, flattering brows.
Module 3 – Consultation & Client Safety
Consultation, patch testing, contraindications, contra-actions and assessing treatment suitability.
Module 4 – Professional Brow Mapping
Assessing the face and natural brows, identifying key mapping points and using professional mapping tools to create shape, balance and symmetry.
Module 5 – Colour, Tinting & Henna
Colour selection and the professional application of tint and henna to enhance the mapped brow shape and create definition.
Module 6 – Waxing, Threading & Tweezing
Safe and precise brow shaping using waxing, threading and tweezing to perfect the finished shape.
Module 7 – Treatment Procedure & Finishing
Bringing mapping, colour and hair removal together to perform the complete Expert Defined Brows treatment, including finishing techniques and aftercare.
Module 8 – Troubleshooting & Professional Practice
Managing common problems, adapting treatments to individual clients, treatment records, product storage, insurance and maintaining professional standards.

Where is the workshop held?
Instruction takes place at The House Of You, the home of Beauty by Amineh Academy. Our high-end facility offers a supportive, elegant space for both students and patrons. An ideal setting for your private mentorship.
Is car parking provided for students?
Certainly, complimentary private parking is available for all visitors.
What are the payment steps for the course?
A non-refundable £100 booking fee is due during registration to confirm your exclusive 1-to-1 session. The remaining cost must be settled via electronic transfer no later than one week before your scheduled training date.
Do we practice on people?
Absolutely. Each student performs the procedure on 2 live models under guidance.
Must I provide my own test models?
We suggest sourcing your own models if possible, however, for those traveling from afar, we can help facilitate model recruitment if notified in advance.
Are there additional fees for equipment?
None at all; your tuition covers all professional kits and all supplies needed throughout the training.
Do you provide multi-booking rewards for learners?
Yes, enjoy a 10% reduction on your second course and 15% off when booking a third qualification.
Is the location reachable via train or bus?
The facility is set in a quiet rural area without pedestrian paths; car travel is required. Nearby hubs include Cambridge North station and the residential area of Cambourne.
What are the session times? Do you provide weekend availability for students?
After registering, Amineh will provide a selection of dates to accommodate your schedule. Classes generally operate between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM (or 3:00 PM depending on the module). Flexibility is possible for long-distance commuters if requested ahead of time. You may suggest preferred dates on the sign-up form, though please note that while we try to be accommodating, availability depends on the Academy calendar.
Is it possible to not pass?
Failure is extremely rare. Typically, students may simply require additional practice hours to reach peak confidence. If Amineh deems it necessary, certification is paused until you provide case studies demonstrating safe, competent results. The only grounds for failure are intentional safety violations, negligent behavior, harmful actions, or breaches of the Equality Act and professional standards.
